R u s t X - R u s t Converter/Passivator Rust (Iron oxides) can be changed into a protective chemical barrier, which are chemical solutions or primers that can be applied directly to an iron or iron alloy surface. Our Rust X is based on a chemical and additive solution in water that is chloride free. Prior to applying any protective coating, it is used as a rust converter to efficiently eliminate rust from steel surfaces and do not eat your mild steel like other rust removers. Rust X is typically used on things like rebar, automobiles, trailers, fences, iron railings, sheet metal, and the exterior of storage tanks that are challenging to sandblast.
